SANDSTORM 2601
OCTOBER 10th AND 11th, 2026
Imagine yourself in the years 2100, humanity relies solely on technology to avert a climate crisis triggered by atomic missiles that caused massive earthquakes. The Rebel army is attempting to conquer the Paintball Mirabel territory. To prevent the catastrophic consequences of the Rebels’ missile launches, the Union army must strike the heart of the opposing force and stop them for good—creating shockwaves that will have a lasting impact on enemy morale and resilience.
The Rebel army (in dark uniforms) and the Union army (in light uniforms) will battle to capture the same territory. In the morning, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the eastern territory will be the objective to defend. Then, following the lunch break, hostilities will resume from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the aim of capturing the western territory.
In addition to side objectives—such as checking electronic control boxes, the “Ambassador” task, hunting for dog tags, and much more—barrels at strategic locations across each army’s combat zones will need to be filled with water.
Especially for this event, the “Night Ops SandStorm” will take place the night before; the two armies will traverse the Paintball Mirabel grounds to engage in combat under the cover of darkness from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Participants can also make a full weekend of it at Paintball Mirabel, with the option to camp on-site Saturday night.
SandStorm is a challenging Airsoft event featuring an immersive skirmish format that includes multiple missions, on-field sound effects, and plenty of action. The event caters to everyone from beginners to advanced players, with scenarios taking place across multiple fields simultaneously.
